About Me

It all started when I was a young lad. I got my first Kodak film camera from my mom and dad for my birthday. I was quickly out and about the neighborhood trying to produce some notable pictures of family, friends and places. But as I got older and started a family I had neither time nor money to pursue photography. But when I got those kids paid for and retired I treated myself to a camera and started shooting pictures again. Once I got going I soon found out how much I really didn't know about the craft that is called photography.

I am fortunate to have a friend and mentor, Dave Boucher, a photographer with a wealth of knowledge who has helped me along the way with his instruction, guidance and constructive criticism. His patience with all my questions is greatly appreciated. I will have plenty more questions, I am sure.

This is my journey capturing moments in time that interests me in nature and in my travels. I hope you enjoy your visit to my web site, Nature Pictorial. Please return often.

I will be posting monthly. I will work to keep it interesting and at times leave the reservation trying something new.

A big thanks to my wife Linda who supports me and gives me a photography pass as long as I make my bed every morning.
